Rib Fest 2009

Yesterday was a good day for Fatty McButterpants. It was Rib Fest at the Ulster County Fair Grounds up near New Paltz. A whole festival dedicated to ribs, pulled pork,  fried dough, beer, barbecue rib award winners, and bounce houses for the kiddies. All of Fatty’s vices. Bonus fun was the joust and rock wall! Here are some pics:

Mickey and Laurie lookin' for soul food and a place to eat. Laurie turned to me and said:" hey babe, talk a walk on the wild side.

After dinner, we went over to the jumphouses, slides, joust, airbrush tats, and slides area. It was tucked away in the corner, away from all the temptations of food and beer. We bought Maddie tokens and made her ride the slide again and again.

Then it was Maddie’s turn to take on the guy who ran the thing. He was pretty cool, did not even take a token. No one was waiting so, he just let Maddie beat the hell out of him.

Maddie wanted a tat. She downed a shot of whiskey and let the young boy give her an Ariel ‘tat.

After Maddie got her ‘tat we decided it was time to head home. Good times had by all.
