Maddie’s Birthday Party Part 1 and 2

PART I. On December 6th we held Madaghan’s birthday party at Sports, Fitness and Fun located in Florida, NY. Madaghan’s friends from school and some grandparents joined in on the fun. The place was huge! There was trampolines dug into the floor rectangles ones and long runway type ones and all sorts of gymnastics equipment. They even had giant bounce houses.

TWO BEERS!!

Some of the adults thought it would be fun to fling themselves into the deep styrofoam block pits.  Keith, Caroline, Laurie all went in to have some with the kids.

So after the kids ran around, flung themselves into deep pits filled with styrofoam blocks, jumped on trampolines, jumped in bounce houses,  it was time to eat!

They had a room right off the gymnastics floor where they set up the party. The kids sat around a huge table and calmly ate pizza. If you look in the background you will notice a woman in a flannel shirt. Do not, repeat,do not play Bingo with this woman. Read about it here.

Of course after the kids ate their pizza, we all sang to Madaghan who, being the performer she is, loved every minute of it.

After the party everyone came back to our house for heros and yes, more cake. We sang to Maddie…again… ate and played Wii. Good times. Notice the red arrow pointing to the flannel.  We are on to her.

Happy Birthday again.

PART II. One of the benefits of having 3 sets of grandparents is the privelege of having two birthday parties. So on December 13th, Grammie Pammie, Grandpa J, Aunt Diane, Rob, GG, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Louie and Eugene all came up to visit. We had a nice dinner and once again, GG kicked our butts in Wii bowling.

Happy Birthday....again.

Happy Birthday....again.

So thanks to Maddie’s friends that took time out of their busy lives to spend the day with us and for all the wonderful gifts during these tough economic times. Thanks to all that treked up from Long Island to spend the day with Maddie Boots. She loved it! She still talks about it.
