What is geocaching you ask?
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. More info after the pics.

OOOOH YOU DID GEOCACHING?!? That’s awesome…I was looking into that when I was thinking about getting a hobby. Then I was like “where in Nassau County would you go geocaching?” Looks like geocaching was fun, what did you guys put in return or do you just look at whats inside and put it back?
You should do it! It is actually pretty fun. All you have to do is download the Geocaching app. I bet there are alot Geochaches in Nassau County, I just looked at their are Geocaches here in Manhattan! Give it a shot one Saturday, what do you have to loose?
We took a couple of trackable coins. They are coins with code on them and you can trace who has had the coin before you and when. One of the coins we have is from Alaska and the other is from Germany! Pretty neat stuff.
In exchange for the coins, we put shark’s tooth necklace and Indian Arrow heads. We plan to buy traceable coins soon.
kewl kewl are you going to put those traceable coins in another geo-location or keep them?
We are going to either put them in another cache, or perhaps hide them ourselves. Have not decided yet. But definetly not keeping them.
Awesome! Looks like a lot of fun.
It was alot of fun for everyone! Especially Madaghan. She gets a thrill when she finds the chache.
